Rug Gallery
Hand-knotted rugs & antique carpets
Established in Tucson, Arizona, in 1987, Rug Gallery selects hand-knotted and antique rugs from weaving traditions around the world. Wool, silk, and silk-wool blends bring rich texture to traditional, contemporary, tribal, and Southwestern designs. An antique rug from its founder’s collection appeared on the cover of Christie’s New York auction catalog in December 1997. Rug Gallery identifies its Ardabil carpet as one of only three worldwide, with the other two held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and LACMA in Los Angeles.

Based in Tioga, Texas, Carol LaRue is a self-taught painter whose lifelong love of horses and the Old West shapes her work. Her fine art prints and original art explore horses, buffalo, cowgirls, and cowboys through expressive lines and vibrant color. She combines watercolor, acrylic, gouache, ink, and watercolor crayons or pencils, using spontaneous marks and intentional color to capture the feeling of each subject. Also known as The Red Pony, Carol brings the character of Western life into her compositions.
Artisana Designs
Handcrafted jewelry inspired by the West
Created by artist and metalsmith Alissa, Artisana Designs brings the landscapes of the American West into handcrafted jewelry. Her background in ecology and natural history informs organic forms inspired by desert canyons, weathered stone, and mountain ridgelines. Turquoise, sandstone, and other natural stones meet hand-forged brass and copper in necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Each design follows the stone’s natural shape, texture, and color. Made slowly by hand, many pieces are one of a kind; others are created in very small quantities.

What kinds of vendors are welcome?
The Hive welcomes a wide range of vendors and distinctive concepts. Jewelry, design, fashion, antiques, art, minerals, handcrafted collections, and home decor are examples, not limits. If your collection brings something original to The Hive, we invite you to inquire.
Does the site plan show current availability?
No. The site plan illustrates the broader development vision and proposed phases. It is not a live availability map or a record of completed construction.
The site
The first retail spaces are open. The site plan shows future retail buildings, outdoor areas, and places to gather, with hospitality and multipurpose areas planned for later phases.
